Sealed proposals for Old York Road Dog Park – Development OS761 Old York Rd, Elmhurst, Illinois,

shall be received by the Elmhurst Park District: 375 W. First Street, Elmhurst, IL 60126 until 10:00 a.m.

local time, January 11, 2024, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Mandatory Prebid Meeting will be on January 4, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. local time at the project site, Old

York Rd. Dog Park, OS761 Old York Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126.

Work generally includes earthwork, concrete/asphalt paving, splash pad and dog play equipment

installation, fencing, pre-fabricated restroom and storage facility, site furniture, shelter installation,

sanitary, sewer, water and electric utilities, landscaping and restoration.

Specifications require the submittal of a 10% Bid Surety with the proposal. In addition, the successful

contractor(s) must be able to provide a satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment

Bond, and required proof of insurance following the award of a contract.

All contracts for work herein are subject to all City rules and regulations, this is a Prevailing Wage

schedule project and the contractor and all sub-contractors are required to pay the prevailing wage for

DuPage/Cook Counties for the life of the project and are responsible for keeping up with any changes.

Certified payroll is required on this project by both general and sub-contractors.

All bids will remain firm for 60 days after the bid opening. The Elmhurst Park District reserves the right to

reject any or all bids, to waive informalities on a bid, and to accept the lowest responsible bid that serves

the best interests of the Park District.
