Mokena Yunker Park Splash Barn Renovation

1.1 PROJECT INFORMATION

A. Notice to Bidders: Qualified bidders are invited to submit bids for Project as described in this Document

according to the Instructions to Bidders.

B. Project Identification: 2023-056 Mokena Yunker Park Splash Barn.

1. Project Location: 10824 La Porte Road, Mokena, IL 60448.

C. Owner: Mokena Community Park District, 10925 W. La Porte Road, Mokena, IL 60448>.

1. Owner's Representative: Greg Vitale, Executive Director

D. Architect: Williams Architects

E. Project Description: Project consists of renovation of the Yunker Park splash barn and addition of a

splash pad admissions kiosk.

F. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work:

1. General Contract (all trades).

1.2 BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING

A. Owner will receive sealed bids until the bid time and date at the location indicated below. Owner will

consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered

as follows:

1. Bid Date: July 2, 2024

2. Bid Time: 10:00 a.m., local time.

3. Location: Mokena Community Park District, 10925, W. La Porte Road, Mokena, IL 60448

B. Bids will be thereafter opened in the presence of the bidders and read aloud at the following location:

1.3 BID SECURITY

A. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 10 percent of the bid amount. No bids

may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any

and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.

1.4 PREBID CONFERENCE

A. A prebid conference for all bidders will be held at Mokena Yunker Park Splash Barn on June 20, 204

at 10:00 a.m., local time. Prospective bidders are requested to attend.

1.5 DOCUMENTS

A. Printed Procurement and Contracting Documents: Obtain after June 11, 2024 by contacting Accurate

Repro Plan Room. Documents will be provided to prime bidders only; only complete sets of documents

will be issued.

1. Deposit: Determined by Accurate Repro Plan Room.

2. Shipping: Additional shipping charges will apply.

B. Online Procurement and Contracting Documents: Obtain access after June 11, 2024 by contacting

Accurate Repro Plan Room. Online access will be provided to all registered bidders and suppliers.

1.6 TIME OF COMPLETION

A. Bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the

Contract Time.

1.7 BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS

A. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to

obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work.
